PARC Committees

Charitable Giving Committee

Members: Kim Cermak and Tamara Holt

1. Identify (through request to all PARC members) organizations with which to partner

2. Coordinate all PARC communication about the giving opportunity for each event

3. Coordinate all communication and logistics with partner organization

4. Submit photos, communication to social media/website committee pre and post event


Program Planning Committee

Members: John McGowan, John Fort, Kristin Manning, Mike Brandwein and Mike Fitzgerald

The Program Planning Committee of the Philadelphia Area Relocation Council (PARC) is led by a chair or co-chairs who are part of the PARC Board of Directors. Other PARC members may be part of the committee as determined by need and/or expressed interest. To be most efficient, it is recommended that the Program Planning Committee not exceed 6 members including the co-chairs and the PARC Administrator.

Responsibilities

The PARC Program Planning Committee is responsible for program content for all events. The Committee works closely with the PARC Administrator on venue selection. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Program Content

  • Develop theme for event
  • With input from the PARC Board, create individual sessions and research speakers/panelists
  • PARC Administrator organizes details with speakers/panelists. Details may include contracts, rehearsal meeting coordination, and Audio Visual requirements.

Venue

  • PARC Administrator researches venues
  • Committee finalize venues
  • PARC Administrator works with venue on deposits, contract, menu, audio visual requirements and room set-up

Budget

  • Develop budget and work closely with Sponsorship Committee with a goal to cover cost of meeting with sponsorship dollars

Promotion

  • Work with Marketing Communications Committee to promote conference (i.e. provide them with final agenda, speaker bios, slide presentations, etc.)

Charity

Members: Tamara Holt, Kim Cermak

  • Work with Charity Committee to ensure time on the agenda to cover it.

Follow-up

  • Work with PARC Administrator to distribute post-conference survey to attendees
  • Make note of those who express interest in serving on committee, content ideas, speaker suggestions, etc.

Marketing Communications Committee

Members: Lauren Moyer, Stefanie Schreck, Karen Witte

The Marketing Communications Committee of the Philadelphia Area Relocation Council (PARC) is led by co-chairs who are part of the PARC Board of Directors. Other PARC members may be part of the committee as determined by need and/or expressed interest. To be most efficient, it is recommended that the Marketing Communications Committee not exceed 6 members including the co-chairs and the PARC Administrator.

Responsibilities

The PARC Marketing Communications Committee is responsible for ensuring that the PARC brand is appropriately represented in all communications both visually and verbally. Communications include, but not limited to:

Website

  • Revamp of website with assistance from PARC Board
  • Design and maintain appearance
  • Enhance and maintain functionality and content

Social Media

  • LinkedIn profile and postings
  • Other applicable social media platforms

Member Communications

  • Event Communication, emails, handouts/printouts at PARC events, signage, PowerPoints, etc.
  • Meeting Announcements (with Program co-chairs)
  • Charity Announcements (with Charity co-chairs)
  • Sponsorship Announcements (with Sponsorship co-chairs)
  • New Member Recruitment (with Membership co-chairs)

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee of the Philadelphia Area Relocation Council (PARC) is led by co-chairs who are part of the PARC Board of Directors. Other PARC members may be part of the committee as determined by need and/or expressed interest.

Mission

The PARC Membership Committee is responsible for ensuring that the PARC population is continuously growing through constant outreach to those within our footprint and showing value to not only those that are considering joining PARC but those that are currently a part of PARC as well.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with PARC board to determine direction on membership recruitment, engagement, and retention programs
  • Membership Service – Identifying needs of the members and recommending development of services and approaches to meet those needs
  • Increasing Membership
  • Keeping Members informed
  • Welcoming new members
  • Identifying nonmember needs, perceptions
  • Monitoring of monthly membership statistics and trends

Recommendations

  • On recruitment, engagement, and retention of members
  • Engagement opportunities of existing members through volunteerism and loyalty
  • Propose strategies for re-engagement of lapsed members

Meetings

  • Membership Committee to meet monthly outside of PARC Board Meetings to discuss direction and progress

Sponsorship Committee

The Sponsorship Committee of the Philadelphia Area Relocation Council (PARC) is led by a chair or co-chairs who are part of the PARC Board of Directors.  Other PARC members may be part of the committee as determined by need and/or expressed interest. 

Responsibilities

In general, the PARC Sponsorship Committee is responsible for identifying, enlisting and supporting commercial sponsors for PARC events, including Corporate Round Tables, Spring and Fall conferences and other special events.

Sponsorship Design and Messaging

·         Work with Maureen Waddington and Board to develop sponsorship levels and packages that are appealing to commercial members.

·         Work with Maureen Waddington to develop theme based messaging to sponsors for each event requiring sponsorship.

Communications

·         Draft and send communications to potential sponsors regarding upcoming opportunities for sponsorship.

·         Answer sponsor questions regarding logistics, artwork, website listing, conference listing; Resource Directory et al.

·         Make phone calls to recruit additional sponsors or follow up with prior sponsors when necessary.

·         Conduct post-conference follow up to thank sponsors or respond to any questions or concerns.

Conference Planning

·         Assist Maureen Waddington with the design, development, editing and printing of the Resource Directory.

·         Assist Maureen Waddington with the development of the Sponsor Slide Deck to be displayed at Conferences.

·         Prepare and present Sponsor Read-Out, live, at Conferences.
